The digital solution would not replace the actual wellness program deployed by employers, as it should be an augmentation as the workplace team has established the engagement. In this talk, the speaker, Dr. Nitchakorn, a former oil platform physician, will walk through the health and safety team's structure in the oil and gas industry and how digital solutions could embed seamlessly. Each heavy industry has a unique work environment where innovative digital behavioral health solutions could significantly augment traditional health promotion. The talk will discuss a co-creation between employers and digital health solutions to tailor-made the program to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. The speaker, Dr. Nitchakorn, worked in the offshore oil platform before as a physician in both primary care and occupational health. Her unique perspective has given her insight into how to advocate and build a comprehensive workplace health system. She is currently continuing to research on this topic as a System Design and Management Fellow at MIT.
