As UX professionals in health care technology, we have a unique opportunity to revolutionize patient care and clinician satisfaction. We were given the overwhelming but exciting task of creating a next-generation product for emergency departments in hospitals around the world. Within 12 weeks we led an international and interdisciplinary team through a user-centered process to create a clear product vision. During this talk we will explain our steps, provide example activities, and share lessons learned along the way. From a unique twist on journey maps to ideas for remote workshops, the audience will walk away with practical tips and inspiration for their own large-scale projects.
