Dr. Mihale is Clinical Advisor for Blue Cross Blue Shield Venture Fund, CMO of Upward Health, and Assistant Professor at USF Medical College. A former executive at IBM and McKesson, founder of two HMOs and three healthcare technology firms, Mihale helped launch several biomedical and life science companies. He served as the CMS Physician Champion for ICD and a physician auditor for CMS, the State of Florida and several national health plans. He received a BS in Aerospace Engineering from SUNY Buffalo, an MD from the University of Miami School of Medicine and an MBA from the University of South Florida.
