Lisa Yoshiko Radecki, MDes, is the Innovation and Design Lead at Kaiser Permanente. She believes that sustainable design depends upon context-driven research to frame challenges and tell the appropriate story. She applies this philosophy by using design methods to align human behavior and beliefs with evidence-based medical practices and business requirements. Her work leverages clear and concise visual language as a key component to communicate complex data sets within multi-level systems of care. Using this approach, she has been able to successfully build new service models in healthcare delivery improving the patient and caregiver experience.
