Namiya Jain is curious about human behavior and is passionate about understanding why people do what they do and how that changes in different contexts. She believes in an interdisciplinary approach to understanding and solving problems that involve humans and societies. Namiya is experienced in development sector research, academic research in behavioral economics and consulting in the private and development sectors.
A behavioral economist by training, Namiya developed an understanding and experience in application of psychology and design via her work. With a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham, she has worked with Final Mile in the areas of HIV prevention, treatment adherence, pandemic response and consumer decisions across Africa, USA and India.
