Petra Salaric was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1993. She received her BA from the School of Design in Zagreb, with a major in Product Design. After various internships from different areas of art and design, she graduated with cum laude from Delft University of Technology. The focus of her work is well-being and behaviour change, with a specific focus on interpersonal relationships and mental health. Her work has been exhibited in Croatia and abroad, and for her project fooda she received 2nd prize at the Zagreb Design Week. Currently, she is undertaking a PhD at Loughborough University, UK where she investigates the impact of computer-mediated communication on intimacy building in the early stages of relationships.
